filtered and excluded are a node's two reasons; an edge reads filtered when its
own layer is switched off, and endpoint when an end of it is not on the canvas —
filtered out, or inside a collapsed cluster. An edge cannot be excluded: there is no
hide-this-edge action.
nested is the fourth answer for a node, and only reachable with
GraphUI.TableOptions.nested on: it is inside a cluster the canvas has shut, so nothing
filtered it and nothing on screen is it. Distinct from filtered because the action
that brings it back is opening a cluster, not clearing a filter.
