pivotick v3.0.0

pivotick / Simplify / SimplifyOptions

Interface: SimplifyOptions

Defined in: interfaces/Simplify.ts:205

UI.simplify: which rules fold the graph, and how groups are named.

Properties

colorOf()?

optional colorOf: (node) => string | undefined

Defined in: interfaces/Simplify.ts:240

The colour a node stands for in a group: the disc and ring, the open wash, the tooltip's chips, a mixed ring's share. For hosts whose nodes carry no color. Returning undefined falls back to the node's resolved style colour.

Parameters

node

Node

Returns

string | undefined

Default

ts
the node's resolved style colour

enabled?

optional enabled: boolean

Defined in: interfaces/Simplify.ts:210

false removes the feature: no rules run and the Simplify rail mode is gone.

Default

ts
true

openConfirmAbove?

optional openConfirmAbove: number

Defined in: interfaces/Simplify.ts:227

Opening a group with more members than this asks first.

Default

ts
100

rules?

optional rules: SimplifyRule[]

Defined in: interfaces/Simplify.ts:216

The rules, in the order they run; each one sees the groups the ones above it made. Left out, full mode offers the built-in rules switched off, and the other modes run none.

typeLabel()?

optional typeLabel: (type, count) => string

Defined in: interfaces/Simplify.ts:222

The name of a group's part, e.g. (type, count) => `${count} IPs` . type is undefined for nodes with no type.

Parameters

type

string | undefined

count

number

Returns

string

Default

${count} × ${type}

typeOf()?

optional typeOf: (node) => string | undefined

Defined in: interfaces/Simplify.ts:233

The type every rule groups by and every group counts its parts by. A rule's own typeOf still wins for that rule.

Parameters

node

Node

Returns

string | undefined

Default

ts
render.nodeTypeAccessor
